You can now send money to India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

Hello India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. 👋

It's been quite the journey since we launched international remittance services in September 2019. We introduced the International Bank Transfers feature within the ASEAN region as it is part of our mission to make financial inclusion a reality.

Keeping ASEAN in mind

Four months in, we've processed millions in international transfers to our ASEAN neighbors: Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Since then, we have enabled our users to say goodbye to tedious banking processes and long waiting hours in queues just to send money abroad. 💪

Our users' feedback kept us positive this was a necessary feature, with words of faster banking, no hidden fees nor extra charges and of course, the amazing reactions following our announcement.

Send money to India, Nepal, and Bangladesh

We've introduced three new corridors for you to send money to. It's easy and it's definitely cheaper! 🎉

The goal is simple - to pioneer and enable digital remittances through the BigPay app, all within a few taps. All you need to do is to top up money into your BigPay app and you can perform these transactions as needed.

Keeping it competitive

We introduced fixed fees for each corridor and give you competitive exchange rates to inch closer to our goals of being the alternative and preferred banking solution to all your banking woes.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as we aim to bring more financial innovations to the digital banking landscape. We'll be looking to launch International Bank Transfers in more countries as well as introducing cash pickups in selected markets and offer top-ups at convenient stores.

Bonus: In the spirit of the Lunar New Year, we've enabled users to add a dash of luck to family, friends, and loved ones by sending e-angpao! 🧧 If you haven't checked it out, there's still time to spread the prosperity in a very fun and environmental-friendly way. 😉
