Well, that's what we've done with international bank transfers. We're tired of how complicated, slow, and expensive bank transfers are when it doesn't need to be.

Starting today, you can easily send money to bank accounts internationally from your BigPay app with competitive and transparent fees. The way it should be! 👍

Whether you're a foreigner working in Malaysia who regularly sends money back home or a Malaysian who's looking to make an one-off payment overseas, we've got you covered. Read more below.👇

Say goodbye to expensive transfers

Every time you send money, you lose a percentage of our money to transfer fees and currency conversion. Just like you, we know the pain of paying too much to send money abroad. 😭

As you can see, we charge a fixed transfer fee of RM7 to RM13 depending on where you're sending money to. That's considerably cheaper than the average bank in Malaysia.

We also use competitive exchange rates for your transfers so you know you're always in good hands. 🤩 However, the rates we use for your transfers are different from the real exchange rates you get when you pay with your BigPay card.

Why? We're working with a third-party to offer you the bank transfer feature so we're following their rates. Eventually, when we're available in more countries, we want you to be able to send money for close to no fee. 😏

Where can I send money to?

For now, you can send money to bank accounts in Singapore 🇸🇬, Thailand 🇹🇭, Indonesia 🇮🇩 and the Philippines 🇵🇭.

Don't worry if you don't see the country you want, we're already looking at adding more countries as you read. Let us know which countries you'd like to see available next here.

So, how do I make my first transfer?

Easy! 😎 From the Payments tab in your BigPay app, select International Bank Transfer. Next, choose where you want to send money to and enter an amount. We'll then show you how much your transfer would cost.

If you're happy with the rates, tap Next and enter the recipient details. When you're ready, simply pay for your transfer and that’s it!

How long will my transfer take?

Once you've paid, we'll process your transfer and quickly send your money out to your recipient. They should receive it as quick as 5 minutes to two working days after we've sent it out. This depends where you're sending money to. 💌
