What is DuitNow?

It’s a money transfer service operated by PayNet, Malaysia’s national payment network that’s responsible for everything from bill payments, ATM networks, direct debits, and more.

DuitNow QR 

As Malaysia’s national QR code system, DuitNow QR is accepted by millions of merchants nationwide! 

Through DuitNow QR, you can make QR payments or transfers to any participating bank or e-wallet (in this case, BigPay), simply by scanning a QR code. Look for the pink DuitNow QR code displayed at merchant payment counters! 

It’s absolutely free to use for consumers and you may make payments of up to RM10,000 per day.

DuitNow Transfer 

Next, we have DuitNow Transfer, the easiest and fastest way to send and receive money with participating banks and e-wallets.

To make a DuitNow Transfer, all you need is the recipient’s DuitNow ID (usually their phone number or IC number), or their bank account number. 

Don’t forget to save the recipient on the BigPay app in the next screen to make future transfers even more convenient!

Here’s how to use DuitNow Transfer on BigPay: 

DuitNow Cross-Border QR 

Yes, you can even use DuitNow overseas with the cross-border QR feature! 

Right now, you can scan QR codes in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia (more to come soon) with your preferred bank or e-wallet app (yay for BigPay again ) to make instant, secure, and seamless QR payments. 

There are no fees for consumers with a daily transaction limit of RM3,000. 

The exchange rate used is quoted by your preferred bank or e-wallet, which in case you didn’t know, BigPay is loved for our affordable exchange rates. 😉
